Umera Ahmed Introduction:
Umera Ahmed is one of the most widely-read and popular Urdu fiction novelist and screenplay writer of this era. She completed her Masters in English Literature from Murray College, Sialkot. Later she became an English language lecturer for the students of O and A levels at Army Public College, Sialkot.
Umera Ahmad got fame for her novel Peer-e-Kamil and became a sensation in Urdu novels. She has authored more than thirty-seven novels and she has proved her self a competent and unique writer. Although I don’t consider her as an asset of Urdu language because she has no philosophy and pithiness in her stories moreover, they are highly ideal level stories it is like describing heaven like happy life on earth.

Marium, another main character, is desire personified. Catherine is a British girl, whose Pakistani father betrayed her mother, Ruth. This left irreparable scars on their lives.
It’s a story of redemption of someone and regrets of someone else. It’s a story of bringing out yourself from filth and then walking on the path of self-rectification & self-righteousness. It’s a story that tells when someone finds the light by the Grace of Almighty then nothing else matters anymore.
